Description
Each piece of splash copper is a small, one-of-a-kind sculpture created when melted copper is dropped onto a flat surface and allowed to cool and harden. A patina is added (the turquoise green color) and the remaining copper is polished to a high shine. The pieces are lacquered to prevent tarnishing. No two pieces are exactly the same size and shape, but these earrings have been matched together as closely as possible for a symmetrical look. Each piece is about 1/2" tall. The drop length is about 2". The earrings are light weight as the copper is a thin sheet. I used copper anti-tarnish wire and copper ear wires. I slip your earrings into a decorative jewelry pouch, then into a gift box tied with a ribbon…all ready for gifting. I also make splash copper pendants, sold separately.
