Shopping with us
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal adulthood where you live, to place an order. Please provide accurate contact, payment, and delivery information. If you have an account, keep your login details private and let us know if you suspect someone else has used it without permission.
Our jewelry and product descriptions
We make jewelry with gemstones, crystals, fossils, meteorites, shells, metals, and other materials. Natural materials have variations in color, pattern, shape, and texture. Handcrafted pieces may also differ slightly. Photographs and measurements help you choose a piece, but screen settings and lighting can affect how colors appear.
The product description identifies the materials, dimensions, and included components. A chain or cord is included only when the description or the option you select says it is. Please check your selected length, metal, and other options before ordering. If you have a material sensitivity or a question about a stone or setting, contact us before you buy.
Natural variation does not excuse an incorrect description or a damaged item. If what arrives is damaged or materially different from what you ordered, please contact us so we can resolve it.
Prices, payments, and availability
Prices are shown in U.S. dollars unless the store expressly displays another currency. Applicable taxes and any shipping charges are shown at checkout before you pay. Prices and promotions may change for future orders; we will not increase the agreed price of an existing order without your consent.
When checkout is available, you may pay using the methods shown there. By submitting payment, you confirm that you are authorized to use that payment method. Payment processing is handled by the provider identified at checkout.
Many of our pieces are one of a kind or available in small quantities. An order confirmation acknowledges receipt of your order. If an item becomes unavailable, a payment fails, or we discover a material listing or pricing error, we will contact you. We may cancel an order we cannot fulfill and promptly refund any amount paid for the canceled items, including applicable taxes and shipping charges. We will ask before substituting a different piece.
Shipping and delivery
Available destinations, delivery options, charges, and any stated processing times are provided with the item or at checkout. Please check your address carefully and contact us promptly if it needs correcting. Carrier delivery dates are estimates unless expressly guaranteed.
If we cannot ship within the time promised, we will explain the delay and give you the choice of agreeing to a revised date or canceling for a full refund of the unshipped order. If no shipping time is stated, the applicable legal shipping deadline still applies. Please contact us about missing or damaged packages so we can help investigate and resolve the problem.
If international delivery is offered, any customs charges that are not collected at checkout will be identified where applicable. Customs processing can affect delivery times. Mandatory consumer rights continue to apply.
Returns, exchanges, and cancellations
Our Return Policy explains the 30-day return and exchange window, return shipping, item condition, and refunds. We do not accept routine order cancellations, but please contact us if there is a problem. This does not limit cancellation or refund rights required by law, including rights relating to delayed shipment, defective goods, or an item that is not as described.
Purchases made through Etsy are handled through Etsy under the listing terms and Etsy policies that applied when you ordered. Etsy account features and purchase protection do not apply to purchases made directly on this website.
Using and caring for your jewelry
Handle jewelry gently and follow any care instructions included with it. Water, chemicals, impacts, and pulling on wire or cords can damage some materials and settings. Keep small pieces away from young children. Descriptions of stones and their traditional meanings are for interest and enjoyment and are not medical claims.
Website content and reviews
Our original photographs, text, designs, and branding belong to Sallyjane’s Gems or their respective owners. You may browse, link to, and share links to our products. Please obtain permission before copying our content for commercial use.
If you submit a review, you keep ownership of your words and give us permission to display the review with the name you provide, and to format or moderate it as needed. Reviews should describe your honest experience. Do not include someone else’s private information, unlawful content, spam, or material you do not have permission to share.
You may not misuse the website, interfere with its operation, submit fraudulent orders, or try to access another person’s account. We may restrict access or remove content to address abuse, fraud, or security concerns. Doing so does not remove our obligations for purchases already made.
Website availability and your rights
We work to keep the website accurate and available, but interruptions and errors can occur. Links to outside services, including Etsy, Facebook, and Instagram, take you to sites governed by their own terms.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect business losses, such as lost profits, caused by an interruption in access to this website. Nothing in these terms excludes responsibility that cannot legally be excluded, limits an applicable product warranty, or takes away your statutory consumer rights.
Questions, disputes, and changes
Please contact us first if something is wrong so we have an opportunity to help. These terms do not require arbitration or prevent you from using a court, regulator, or other remedy available under applicable law. If a provision cannot be enforced, the remaining provisions still apply.
We may update these terms by posting a new version with a revised date. Changes apply going forward. The terms in effect when you place an order govern that order unless you agree otherwise or the law requires a change.
