Herkimer "Diamonds" are double terminated quartz crystals from Herkimer, New York. They are especially beautiful with the light shining through them. I carefully picked Herkimers with nice shape that match well with each other. I set them in 14k gold-filled wire. Unlike plate or vermeil, gold-filled wire has a thicker covering and more gold, making it much more durable. I include rubber ear backs.
