Description
This unisex ammonite pendant is about 4.25 inches long. The fossil (measuring 1.75" x 1.6") is from Madagascar and is an estimated 80-120 million years old. The turquoise is from the Kingman Mines in Arizona. The photos make the turquoise look blue, but it's actually more of an olive green with brown matrix. I set the stones with anti-tarnish wire. It's silver plated copper wire with a coating that prevents tarnishing. The spiral bead is silver-plated pewter. You can buy the pendant alone or with an optional braided leather cord with stainless steel lobster clasp made by my husband, Steve. You have your choice of 16", 18" and 20". The photo of the pendant on the bust is a 20" cord. The pendant comes carefully packed in a gift box tied with a ribbon – all ready for giving.
