Description
These beautifully banded malachite cabochons are natural stones from the Democratic Republic of Congo. The drop length is about 2.12 inches. Although substantial in size, each earring only weighs a little more than a quarter. I set the stones in solid copper with solid copper ear wires. I include rubber ear backs. To prevent tarnishing, store your earrings in the heavy duty plastic bag provided, and clean the copper with the polishing cloth provided after wearing or prolonged exposure to ear. If you prefer the more antiqued look, let them tarnish to your liking (although I would keep the ear wires clean). I slip your earrings into a decorative jewelry pouch, then into a gift box tied with a ribbon…all ready for gifting.
