I made these earrings from natural, hand-cut, heart-shaped pyrite crystal clusters. Each stone is unique, and I did the best I could to match them up for earring pairs. The stones are about .5" x .5" before wire wrapping. The drop length is about 1.4". The ear wires are sterling silver and come with rubber ear backs. Since pyrite reacts with sterling silver causing it to tarnish faster, I chose anti-tarnish wire to wrap these stones. It's silver-plated copper wire that's coated with an acrylic finish to cover the metal and prevent tarnishing. They are surprisingly light weight. Each earring weighs about 1/10 of an ounce. I slip the earrings into a decorative jewelry pouch, then into a gift box tied with a ribbon — all ready for giving.
Note: I photographed each of 5 pairs of earrings separately and numbered them. After each one is sold, I will removed its photo so you'll know which earrings are still available. Right now, only #1 and #2 remain. You may choose the number you want if it's still available. Just send me a message through Etsy when you order giving me the number.
