Description
These luscious deep blue stones are natural Afghanistan lapis. There's a slight dusting of pyrite and a touch of calcite on the back of the stones, which is a good way to tell they are real and natural. I set them in copper with copper ear wires. I include rubber ear backs and a polishing cloth. These earrings are comparatively light weight, each weighing about 2.5 ounces. The pair is 4 ounces, compared to a pair of quarters at 3 ounces. The drop length is about 1.8". The wrapped stone is about 1.25" x .75". To prevent tarnishing, store your earrings in the heavy duty plastic bag provided, then polish the metal with the polishing cloth after wearing or prolonged exposure to air.
