I created these earrings from genuine Kingman, Arizona Turquoise and silver plated pewter feathers. They are quite substantial. The drop length is about 3.25 inches. They weight about .25 ounces each which is .05 ounces more than the weight of a quarter. The ear wires are sterling silver. The wire I used to wrap is anti-tarnish silver-plated copper. You'll see a variation in the colors of the turquoise. I think I moved the beads around enough so you can see the color variations. In other words, they don't match each other perfectly in color because they aren't solid color, but rather coordinate and complement each other. It's very difficult to match up turquoise beads in size, shape and color, but I'd say these are a pretty good matchup. I include a polishing cloth with your purchase as well as rubber ear backs. To prevent tarnishing, store your earrings in the heavy duty plastic bag provided and shine the metal with your polishing cloth after wearing. I tuck your earrings into a decorative jewelry pouch, then slip them into a gift box tied with a ribbon — all ready for gifting.
